JOEL & JIMI,
While i agree there is a bottomless pit of Knowledge to be gained on this List, even for someone like me who has been at this "addiction" for 30 years, I must admit i will delete a number of posts without reading them. The situation works likes this: I'll read the first post under a new Subject heading, I'll even read a number of follow ups...if the subject interests me. But sometimes the subject doesn't interest me that much & I'll just delete the follow ups that come under the same Subject Heading. I know this isn't the smartest thing to do, because often enough the actual body of the posts have changed in content from the first post under that Subject. However, in my defense i must say that some days i do not have alot of time to read thru all the posts I recieve(I also am on Streamers@ list) and I'd rather take the time to read the posts that interest me & not have to rush readings because of too many posts & not enough time.
Here's the suggestion that will come off like beating a dead horse, as it has been mentioned a number of times on this List. If the body of the post has changed from the Subject heading, PLEASE change the Subject heading!!!! If you look at the Subject on this post of mine, I've altered the Subject heading to indicate a change in the Post, while showing where the post originated from... simple & effective at conveying the change... If this simple change was practiced more often, i probally would delete as many Un-read Posts as i do from time to time...
That's my beef for tonite. I will certianly agree that there is alot of priceless information to be found from the folks on this list, probally why it's still my favorite List on the Web....

I feel the same way Jimi. I am afraid to delete a post withhout first reading it. The insite, ideas, knowledge, are worth the time and effort to look at them all.
