Well over here in ireland on certain lakes the fish gorge themselves on snails, this happens when the snails rise to the surface during the summer to mate i think, they are hard caught fish then

Or that they would eat anything exclusively in the wild. There have been a few artilces about snails being a favortite food of trout. Usually big fish in lakes.
