And a beautiful lot they are. Kudos to all the tiers who put them together. I had a few doubled up. Was that supposed to happen?
Rene - your spruce was fantastic. Heck, never mind giving the fish a chance, I wanted to eat it! The yellow fuzzy Mickey is one that got doubled up. Good thing, too, because that one is going in the box for use ASAP, along with the Mickey Finns tied by James. Who tied it? Also, there was no card on the white soft hackle with the pink tail. Looks like a good one, though. Joel has managed to hit the perfect combo of colors for the lakes around here. I know a couple where the 'bows will hit anything about that size and that shade of green. A little red around the throat like that will be irresistible. I remember ignoring a thread on the reservoir whore, and now I wish I hadn't. It looks like a prince nymph on steroids with those white biots. Jamieson's modified wild turkey looks killer, too. I assume that Wild Turkey was the inspiration, since there does not appear to be any turkey on it? (Just kidding) Finally, I see George Church has impeccable taste in Zonker colors. His choice of orange is matched only by, well, my choice of orange. The trout will love it. That's it for what I've got. Fantastic flies. Every time I participate in a swap I'm reminded of just how far I have to go before I can claim to know what I'm doing. It's humbling, but it sure is a heck of a lot of fun! Dan
