That's great. Even for Texas kids, just getting that close has got to be a thrill for them. Glad you had a great holiday with the family. We went to the nursing home yesterday to have the Thanksgiving meal with Patti's mom. Today is our day with the family. I already have an 8lb. turkey on the smoker and I'll be deep frying a 12 lb. bird in a few hours. Don't know if folks here are ready for a Cajun Fried bird yet or not.
BTW... 'ol Jack Mitchell is now 17 lbs. That's heavier than my turkets. And he's only 12 weeks old. Boy were you right about growing them be in Texas. At this rate he could be a lineman for A & M.
