Why not buy one of those CD wallets that you can usually get for around $4or5 at CompUSA, or Staples etc. Sometimes you can find them for free. You pay at the store and get a mail in rebate for the price you paid. I have one and thats what I use for a leader wallet. Each side can hold one or two if you are careful.
I like to use a nymph and a Clouser Minnow as the dropper. Other wise I use something like a Humpy (more as a strike indicator) and a smaller fly on the dropper.
I may start using your idea.
We started to be able to use two flies a couple of years ago and I think most people forget that you can now use two flies on the same line. As a matter of fact, we can buy a special stamp to be able to use two rods. Sure would be tough to decide which one to bring in if you had two hook-ups at the same time.
Decisions,decisions,decisions....

That's what I do too. However, I'm starting to use more 2 fly rigs now with combinations of different midges or nymphs with a midge dropper. This Fall, we even used Hornberg streamers with a midge dropper picking up fish. Why the fish want a ravenous midge chasing a baitfish is beyond me... Anyway, there has been some good combinations put together and it would be usefull to be prepared to quickly tie on a 2-fly rig without spending extra time on the water setting it up. Since the 2-fly rig is usually less than 18", you should be able to get about a dozen or more rigs into a flybox. I've tried using those "Pocket Leader Packs" but they crimp the mono too easily and getting the last fly to attach is a pain. Dean has a good idea in coiling the rig and then putting it into it's own compartment.  Maybe a 'Leader Wallet' is the answer. One with about 15-20 compartments. Know of any?
