Silver Creek was one of AZ best kept secrets. There has been alot written about it as of late. It's a spring creek 7 miles north of Show Low. There's only about 1 1/2 miles of fishable water, the rest goes through private land until it gets to White mountain lake. It's only about 6 feet wide in some places but deep and spreads out to about 15 feet wide in other places. The fish can be very selective at times and there are some monsters in there, especially in spring when the rainbows from the lake come up the creek to spawn. I haven't fished X-Diamond but plan to this spring.
I'll give another report on Friday or before if I can get internet access at on of the motels.
