I've got a couple of the C&F boxes and I really like them a lot. They're
very durable, I've never had a fly shake out of one, and while I don't have
ones that are sold as waterproof, I've dropped em once or twice and never
actually had them fill up with water. I guess they're light enough that
there isn't a problem with them floating.

There are two boxes I normally take out. One has 6 or 7 rows of the
slotted foam on one side of the shell, the other side has foam slots for
holding midge threaders, and it has a set of midge threaders along the
center. I've got great vision but the midge threaders make things a
whooooooole lot easier. The second box I carry for nymphs and wet flies
has slotted foam covering one side and half of the other side. There are
two boxes with snap lids filling up the remainder of that side. I suppose
I could put something in those, but I haven't quite figured em out.
Actually, theres some kinda double sided tape covering the bottom of one of
the boxes. Any ideas what that might be for??

Anyhow, I'd suggest checking the C&F stuff out. Its worked really well for
me.

Subject: [VFB] C & F Flyboxes

Howdy all.
Has anyone used any of the C & F Flyboxes? I am probably interested in one
of the waterproof ones as I sometimes tend to wade to deep!!! I know Byard
carries them but I wanted to know if anyone has any good/bad comments about
them. Thanks.
