Do any of you tie or use sparkle duns or comparaduns?
I prefer to tie an over sized wing from hackle tips and vary the amount of hackle wraps, color and size. I liked the post about clipping an Adams' tail to imitate a caddis. Once I fished and the hackle unwound on a dry that had been chewed on and I clipped it off and caught a nice bow while letting the fly drag during a visit to my fly boxes.
