Looking for some help with Whiting Quill Capes. These are for use as Quill bodies, and since I tie a lot of quill body flies, I bought a couple. However, I have been having trouble stripping the quills, without removing the color (dye) from the quill. I have tried stripping the dry, wet, after soaking in dilute Clorox for a short time and a long time, all we unsatisfactory result. I was wondering if anyone else had tried these capes or if anyone has a suggestion. Thanks -Tom
