Now this is something that has sparked my interest. Quiet often when we are out I have to be very careful working the streams or banks. If I step wrong or pivot my hips wrong it is not uncommon for my back to go and I wind up either kissing the mud or getting very wet. A wading staff my be an option as it seems to be a better choice than trying to work my walking crutch through the weeds and on the rocks.
One option is to find out what Jimmy is getting, the other is to make my own. Both have merit and drawbacks. If anyone has any suggestions on making one I would be glad to hear them, and Jimmy, is there information and a picture of what you are getting ? Sounds better than the alternatives. Thanks, Jimi Byard, TNX for the phone call this morning. You didn't have to do that! However, thanks for looking out for me on the Wading Staff I ordered. You're right, I would have been disappointed with the thin-walled aluminum one. You could have just emailed me and saved a buck. I do appreciate your thoughtfulness and look forward to receiving my FolStaff. Sounds like Fallstaff. Wonder if it's hollow and will hold beer? LOL Just wanted to remind you on the List of what a Great Guy Byard is! He goes that extra mile to do things for the VFB and his Linesend Customers. Byard, I sincerely appreciate you and what you do for us. Cheers and Merry Christmas, JIMMY Jimmy D.
