I was just tying some string leeches for steelhead, and I have one hook (probably a 3/0 chrome plated Mustad steelhead bait hook) that I can't cut the shank on with my regular needlenose pliers.
Any ideas from the crowd on how to do it? And before you all go crazy with why I want to cut a hook: http://www.fishingnorthwest.com/steelheadflys.htm, about halfway down the page is a yak hair variant, I am doing them with bunny strips. -- "In our family, there is no clear line between religion and fly fishing."
