Just wanted to relay some of my conversation with Tony Spezio to those who know him. He's a fine gent and couldn't get off the subject of fishing and tying when I asked about his health. Tony is adamant about putting a gold bead on his chili pepper fly and claims 2000 fish on it. I don't doubt it but I wonder if it wouldn't have been 4000 if he didn't have any pain meds. I hope all of you have a chance to hit the Sowbug Roundup in March. Tony will be pleased if you do. He sounds good but a bit groggy. He will be in the hospital for a while longer and I think he will need therapy to strengthen his knee. I told him my dad needed a new hip from being shot down from a B17 and Tony told me he hit the wing of a DC3 which resulted in his injury. I say flyfishing and tying is a much safer occupation. Oh, and Tony became a grandfather again Tuesday! Prayers for Tony.
