And the Tiemcos have a big plus- eyes.  The Mustad 32 is a spade-end.   DonO ----- Original Message ----- From: Deborah Duran To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Friday, December 27, 2002 3:13 PM Subject: [VFB] Tiemco Dry fly size 32 hooks Hope everyone had a happy holiday!  I stopped by the fly shop today and noticed a few packs of size 32 dry fly hooks made by Tiemco.  I never noticed that they made size 32 hooks.  They have a short shank and a wide gap.  The gap is supposed to make them easier to tie than the old mustads.  I think the short shank would still make it difficult though.  Have any of you tried these hooks yet?
