after reading that article about the Peabody fly that Capt. Roger guy Claims to have invented...(It's a Bloody Peacock & Brown Soft hackle!!!!!!!!)
This last issue really outdid itself in the ludicrous. At least the balsa and bamboo things were a little bit of an original idea. How dumb do they think their readers are trying to foist that "Peabody" fly off as a new idea? What kind of egomaniac would try to claim something as mundane as the old tried-and-true brown hackle peacock as an original pattern? His it gotten to the point where anyone can take any pattern, hang a new name on it, and publish in a national magazine?
