Rob,
The Green Weenie talk here is about a popular fly in Pennsylvania & Delaware. It is tied on a 10-14 hook either standard or 2x long nymph or streamer. Simple to tie, chartreuse chenille tied in at bend, create a loop behind bend then run chenille to eye and tie off. Can be weighted or unweighted, with or without bead head. I believe the Orvis catalog has a picture of the Green Weenie. Some fishermen hesitate to use this because of esthetics, but this fly works year round for some reason. Good go to fly on a tough day.

To the best of my knowledge the Green Weenie is a pacific salmon fly tied
like a Comet, with a black tail, and black hackle with a bright green dot
of chenille right behind the hackle.
Is this the fly you mean? And what is a Poo Pah?
