Trout season here in Texas is year-round too, Neville. The only kicker is that we have only one reproducing trout stream. It's at Canyon Dam, near New Braunfels, about 35 miles north of San Antone. Bottom draw dam pushes water out at 45 degrees. With a sustained flow of 150 CFS, we have a 12 mile trout stream year round. But, with all the fly fishing Texans on that 12 miles, it's a Zoo!
I wish I's never gotton rid of my Norton and my 53 6cyl, dual side-draft carbs Corvette. The stupid things we do!
