Ken, Our TU chapter has "leases" all along the river below the dam. We usually have 100+ members who pay for lease access at $85/yr. Others like myself fish the public access areas which are just about as good albeit, more crowded. Of course, there are many people who are not TU members who fish the Guad also. it'd be hard to put a figure on it, but it's a LOT. Enough to support big Orvis stores in Austin and San Antone, plus several other big fly shops. Besides trout fishing, there is always other stream fly fishing too. With the restocking that we've done in the last month and will continue through February, there'll be plenty of trout. Already put in several thousand at 10" all the way to 20".

Cheers,

JIMMY

Hey Jimmy,

I saw that two nights ago on TU TV. It was a beautiful river. I wondered
how many of the VFB Texans fished that. Don't feel bad, that's one more
reproducing trout stream than we have in Florida!

Trout season here in Texas is year-round too, Neville. The only kicker

is that we have only one reproducing trout stream.
