I agree to disagree on this one. True, all water was/is God given. True, all should have access. True, Fees and leases are a form of discrimination.
       Now, think about it. If we did give way to everyone this is what we would have: Beer cans, fire pits, bait containers, trash. We would see people casting corn to trout and keeping every one they catch. Salmon would be the same way. Ever see a family of bait fishers? When they go for trout, most of them each have their own stringer. Around here the limit on trout is 8 That gives the power to a family of four to keep 32 trout!
       Now, I am not downing the bait fisher, I drown a worm with the grand kids every now and then. What I am saying is that Leasing, though not for me, is a practice that does help the fishery.

       Just my . 25 cents worth.
