You're right Steve.  Quite a few go to places like Haines Point for catfish while some go for carp.  Seems to be ethinic as to their preference.  The "elitists" go downstream for the bass and us folks in Fredneck county fish for anything that swims.  Upstream from us you might remember the large sewage spill which they deemed "acceptable" and the leaking sewage from DC due to an old system.  I stopped eating steelhead from the Great Lakes due to PCBs and Dioxin but there are many folks who fill the freezer.
