I've never really tried to sharpen them....the blade is only 1" long.

The pivot-pin seems to be fine.

You can actually replace the blades.....they have a small Phillips head screw holding each blade.

Quik Question..

Do you sharpen the blades yourself?  Is the pivot-pin worn?

I saw a thread, sometime back, where to get Wiss Scissors (quick snip).   I've had a pair for years but the blades are worn. Does anyone know where to get replacement blades?  AK Best refers to this is his book, Production Fly Tying, but does not give a source.
