A size 24 clouser?! I bet that was a pain to tie!
What did you use to weight the fly? Did you just use burned mono and allow the fly's natural weight to try and sink it? I forgot to mention one of the flies that I tied for my recent trip to the Owens River. It was a Clouser Minnow. White and grey....size 24 (Gamakatsu S13S-M hook). Unfortunately I didn't catch anything on it....the hook point broke off on a snag after a few casts. Bummer....I've never caught a trout on a Clouser before.... Chris
