John,
I heard of a fly called Zulu. There is a variation around which uses
o Tail: Red wool
o Body: Black wool, silver rib
o Body hackle and head hackle: Blue

I ty some beetle pattern, which use a dark blue dubbing (SLF) for the body.
It catches trout but is it a troutfly.
BTW: The Zulu imitates a beetle as well.

Rene

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know of any trout flies that are blue or mainly blue?

-John
