[VFB] Super Hair and Surf Candies

I've been tying up some surf candies using Super hair. It's a great fly but I'm finding the colors made for Super hair are limited. Is it possible to dye Super hair with fabric dye such as Rite? Has anyone tried this? If not I'm going to give it a go, just wanted some advice first.
