Joyce and Murf are right on about this technique.
 
It works well with Ruffie, Spruce, Hun, and duck (Mallard and Bluebill) feathers that can be too big for many uses.

I agree Joyce.  Great book with many ideas.  I've used this method before and it works when you pay attention to where the fibers are tied in.
