Guys don't for get about the ole humble starling. You can get soft
hackles for a #24 on the wings.

I really like starling soft hackles for small flys. They can be a bit of a challenge sometimes but the resulting flys look sweet. And if you can't find one roadkilled for free, they only cost a few bucks in shops. Too bad most folks prefer dogs as cats donate a lot more tying material. ;-)
