On a not-really-related-to-fly-tying-but-I'll-try-anyway note; at the end of the day the rangers were capturing the nuisance gators (nuisance would be defined as gators who follow people's lures all the way up to where the people are fishing). They had grappling hooks on big rods and they'd cast the hooks over the gator and then (literally) reel them in by hooking them in the side. I wonder now how that would work with a fly rod... maybe a "gotcha"? ;-> Ken (FL)
