Went "fly" fishing today through the ice. Caught a 22
inch pike on 2 pound test and a number 14 ice fly
(char green rabbit body, black soft hackle weighted).
Eight inches of ice in the greater Ludington area now!
Light snow with a 15 mph west wind, temperature
around 10 degrees Farenheight. Winter steelheading is
even out of the question in this stuff.

No change in the weather coming for a week-looks like
tying,rod wrapping, and ice fishing!
