Hi Everybody, I thought I had sent this already but I searched the archives and it didn't show up. I'm not on my home machine at the moment so I need to check my sent messages. Anyway, on with the show.
I'll be hosting a Dollar Store Swap. The rules are pretty straight forward: 1 All flies must be tied with materials from a dollar store or from holiday clearance merchandise. We'll have to rule out craft stores & *-mart stores since they're common places to shop. The only exceptions to the materials will be hooks & thread. I think this will force maximum creativity. 2 The flies must be fishable (or at least what you think will be fishable). If you get a chance to try them out then so much the better! 3 You must have fun! This is intended to play around with some different materials (or maybe you already use them!) and to get creative. Have fun with it! I'll set the signup deadline for February 14th (this will be the new date even if the original message went through) or until we hit 12 tyers. Since there are a lot of swaps going on we'll set the due date for the flies for April 14th (want to make it easy on folks). Here's the current list I have.
