Larry,

I use a CDC feather for the body of an improved Adams. The CDC barbules add
a lot of movement to the fly and they add floatability.
Is the ostrich Adams a good floater? I never tried it. Always thought that
the ostrich plume will soak quickly and caause the fly to sink.
