Well I have to go to Alaska on April 11-13 whether
I go fishing or not. So I'm pretty much stuck with those dates.
After finding out some more info though, it looks like I won't be able to do any
fishing.

hey eric is there any way you can postpone trip until early june or mid
june you will realy be dissapointed in april , they dont have much snow
up there now but in march they can get hammered there ive seen it snow every
day in march and i mean dummped on 6 inches to a foot a day dont mean to be
pestimistic but april is a bit soon

Eric, I don't want to
rain on your parade but when Johnny Horton sang "When It's Springtime in
Alaska, It's 40 Below" he was only half kidding. Ice out on the
Peninsula is usually from mid to late April and the rivers usually don't
settle into a fishable condition until around Memorial Day. I lived in
Alaska for several years and could never plan a Kenai trip much before
Memorial Day. That was an early trip for us because the interior
streams don't settle until later in June.
