Tom, I have used it since that article. I have had fewer failures than with any other knot. It is also so easy to tie that I can do it quickly and even with frozen fingers. I have learned to leave a tiny extra tag when trimming and as I said before with flourocarbon even a bit more (maybe 1/8th inch) as it seems to slip more than regular tippet. I recommend it highly.
