First, for everyone.
Does anyone have anything to do with empty thread spools?  I have a few of
them sitting around, and it seems like there should be something cool to do
with them.  Knowing you guys, im going to get a bunch of answers.

I like to re-spool them at the fly shop with coats and clark sewing thread, namely the following: Rayon in Bright Red, BrightYellow, Black, Bright Blue, and Bright Green.
This is what I use for my wet flies bodies. It is cheeper than tying thread, lays down nice, and is durable.
Currently I am out of empty spools and need about 6. If anyone has any they want to get rid of, let me know and we will work out a trade or something.
