I was one of the attendees at the Badger Fly Fishers of Madison fund raiser on Saturday. Gary Borger was the presenter of three talks. The morning talk was about why trout become selective. Part of that talk was about the importance of drag if you are fishing Drys or Emergers. Afternoon was a casting demonstration focused on how to cast better and "mending in the air" to help minimize drag. Evening talk was about "The Four Seasons Of Trout Fishing." I missed the last one, but I am really glad I saw the first two. He's a great teacher and a nice guy, and of course he knows his subject. I would say if he's coming to a show near you, don't miss it. I learned a lot about fishing better.
