Dean,
I do miss those So. Cal. down poors, the roads become rivers and if you run fast enough on the sidewalk you can get a tube ride for a few seconds as the bus goes bye then it closes out on you and you're all wet. We still aren't getting much up here, we did get some heavy rain a couple weeks ago, flooded all over the place but not much for snow pack. So send us some rain and some cold air to go with it.

Catch you later

Jim

Subject: [VFB] Greetings from Drowned Southern California!!!!!

  Gosh Gee,

what a difference 17-18 hours make..... It started raining about 1:00 am this morning & it kept raining until the past hour... It Rained HEAVY most of the day. We were averaging 1/2 to 1 inch per hour!!!!!! So, of Course, this being So Cal...the accident count went up accordingly with the inches of rain we got...

Flooded intersections, "Rivers" running down what used to be streets, The Hillsides sliding down into Houses & Interstate 5 up on the Grapevine, but the worse thing is the Idiots in their SUVs thinking they are immune to all this rain & flooding. Or how about the Monkeys in their sports cars thinking they just floor it thru flooded areas???? Lotsa staled cars, flooded cars. Search & rescue saving fools from their own stupidity.....

How did I fair today???? I drove carefully & s-l-o-w-l-y. I worked at the Store & just watched the rain come down.

Rain counts at last observation......Woodland Hills- 7 inches, Agoura-6 1/2 inches,I think Downtown was at 5 3/4 inches. The Local snow level dropped to 3500 feet...

We are supposed to recieve more rain on thru tonite into early afternoon tomorrow, but the brunt of the storm is past us.....

All i got to say is.....I REALLY DO LIKE THE RAIN!!!!!!!!

     DEAN...
