JEFF,
I do what i can... Today was basically cloudy, a wee bit of the Rain...nothing compared to yesterday's "watering"... I tried to see if I could notice the snow on the San Gabriel Mountians west of me...but cloud cover prevents the mountians from showing their white mantle..
Plus side is that this rain blew out the sand Bars at the mouths of So cal Steelhead streams.. the Steelhead can ascend to spawn.. I'm on a volunteer crew to Observe the Net "trap" on Topanga Creek. The first crew went in this morning to set up the Wier.. I'm slated to do a 3 am til 10 am watch on Sunday... I should be able to spot the Steelhead...they pass in the night. Very proud to assist Southern california Steelhead carry on......amazing they survive so close to such an oversized Metropolitian area... Mother Nature ROCKS!!!!!
I'll post a report later on Sunday about my "Net watching"...
DEAN...

Thanks for sending the rain this way; Tucson AZ. We really needed it. Hope it keeps up for about 3 more days, build the snow in the mountains so we have full streams and lakes for the spring and summer.
