Though I in no way support the name calling
or other distasteful behavior, it is entirely useless to post information
about a fly on a fly tying list if you have no intention of telling us how
to tie the fly. In the future should a situation like this arise, I think it
would be best if you keep your secret flies to your self. Tom Aufiero
Maybe he doesn't know how to tie the fly? Some of our listers are novices who are just learning the hobby. I can't think of any other reason since even patented flys are easily found on various websites with instructions.
