John,

I urge you to continue on the list, your supporters far outweigh your detractors.  I have always found you to be helpful and informative.  I can understand your reluctance to post info on a fly that somebody else wanted to keep secret or under wraps (perhaps to polish tying procedure or look for better materials - who knows why?)  I agree that you should not have posted it.  For everyone who wants to take a look at my secret flies go to

In other words, I have no secrets.  Far and away the most productive bluegill fly around these parts is the Gill Getter.  Easy and fast to tie, common materials.  Maybe that will satisfy some of the people after "killer" bluegill flies.

I think that this whole thread has gone way to far.

You may not see any posts on the list from me for a few days, I
need to think about wether I am staying on this for comradery or information.
I can get plenty of either in the chat room and maybe it is time for me to
step away form this list!

sincerely ticked off
