Graeme, Christian social organizations are not uncommon in the States. One of the largest is the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Not a religion, an opportunity to assemble with like-minded folks. There are also motorcycle clubs of a similiar nature that some of my buddies ride with. I wouldn't see Jimi's enthusiasm for wanting to associate with fly fishers with the same testament of faith to be terriblly off topic. That said, good tying. -Jeff

This certainly sounds hooky to me. I am sorry but I joined this list because
I already have a religion.
I do not mean to offend anyone, but can we get back to tying.
All the best
Graeme.

I have often thought of forming a new organization, I have thought of calling it the "Christian Fellowship of the Long Rod". It would be a simple group that acknowledges Jesus and the fellowship shared by fly fishing. Not so much as a "Formal" group, but one that realizes where our true source of life comes from and would enjoy a "Special" prestige among the community expressing your faith and commitment.

This may sound "Hooky" to some, but anyone who thinks it may be of interest
drop me a note off list at [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Thanks,
Jimi
