This vice is a true rotary. The difference is
what makes them so nice. The hook shank will stay at all times lined up
with the arm of the vice. You will see why this is so nice when you epoxy
one fly and turn it by hand. It will turn out much better on this
vice. It's also a lot nicer for wrapping your materials. The V
in the arm is what helps keep this in true rotary form. There are
some others out there that can explain this a lot better than I so I will leave
it at that. These vices are made so that if you use them correctly you
will turn fly to apply your materials instead of wrapping the materials.
