HI Deb
I have a Rezetti traveler and I don't use mine that way either. I haven't taken the time to learn how. I just thought this was interesting because of the drive.

DeanThis vice is a true rotary. The difference is what makes them so nice. The hook shank will stay at all times lined up with the arm of the vice. You will see why this is so nice when you epoxy one fly and turn it by hand. It will turn out much better on this vice. It's also a lot nicer for wrapping your materials. The V in the arm is what helps keep this in true rotary form. There are some others out there that can explain this a lot better than I so I will leave it at that. These vices are made so that if you use them correctly you will turn fly to apply your materials instead of wrapping the materials. :0) I don't use mine that way. Here's a rotary that has a different drive system. Also costs a lot more.
