Murf,

You talking 'bout the Savage, or the North/South Branch?  Always wanted to head out that direction, but have never fished there before, and didn't want to make the trip by myself the first time and not know where to go.  I'm up for it.  Maybe we can get a gaggle to go out.  Take the tents and spend the weekend.

I'll take a peak at the path on the upper end first, then park at the lower end if it looks to hazardous.  The second parking lot just above the narrow rocky section has a pretty steep incline too, doesn't it?

Not even that!  The hill is guaranteed to launch you at 80mph to the water where you will ski to the other side and hit a tree.  Go to the lower lot and hike back in.  Get there early and you might catch a fish or two walking upstream.

Mark, got to get you guys out 70 west to some streams where you'll catch fish and not worry if somebody is breaking into your car.  Poor Eddie is tying corn and bread flys while I'm watching a honeybee in my crocus bed.  Ants and stoneflys my friend.
