I went over to Lake Artemisia today, which was stocked last week. There were about 597 fishermen tossing lures and bait, and three tossing flies. Everyone was catching fish but me. Crappie, blue gills, bass and 1-2 lb rainbows.
I talked to the DNR (Department of Natural Resources) about what's in the lake, and they sent me the latest report on electrofishing, seining and stocking. They even stocked 50 tiger muskelunge (trying to reduce the bluegill population) According to their inventory, there is an average of 16 bass for every 30yards of shoreline. Tells you something about the skill of fishermen. Especially me. --- Steve, In Maryland _____________________________________________________________ Get 25MB, POP3, Spam Filtering with LYCOS MAIL PLUS for $19.95/year. http://login.mail.lycos.com/brandPage.shtml?pageId=plus&ref=lmtplus
