Wes -

The wing fiber yarn is cut into a 16 inch length, folded in half, and then many
skeins are sewn side-by-side along their folded end with a chain stitch. So
when you pick it up holding each end of the string-chain the material hangs
down like a grass skirt. There are about fifty skeins strung in a pack that
costs $2.95. Some packages have hanger tags labeled "Caps" and stickers that
say "SAAP Mistic Fiber". On Bailey's website it's simply called Wing Fiber.

My attempts to photograph the material were unsuccessful. The flash and macro
mode don't cooperate well in my camera. My best guess is that it's Antron in a
fine denier. Held next to conventional Antron it is straighter, softer, and
less kinky. The reflective sparkles are similar but smaller and more numerous.

As I was trying to photograph some fluorescent yellow material my wife walked
by and said "Well, THAT's vivid..." It does tend to stand out.
