<a href="http://www.info-fx.com/saap/saap.html">link to SAAP body fur pics</a>
The link above is to photos I did of Body Fur and a resulting minnow pattern submitted recently for Brad Robinson's Minnow Swap. It should give you some idea of what this material is like and how it can be used.
The only two sources I know of currently for SAAP body fur and wing fiber are the Fly Fishing Shop in Welches, Oregon (http://www.flyfishusa.com) and the Dan Bailey online catalog (https://www.dan-bailey.com/via5/index.jsp - click on Fly Tying Tools & Materials and then Synthetic Wings and Tails). Only Bailey has the winging fiber described by Mark. Quantity of material supplied in each package is generous and the price is $3.50 for the Body Fur and $2.95 for the Wing Fiber. I don't know if Byard would consider carrying it at Lines End.
My next project is to use this material to make dragonfly nymphs. I think it would be ideal.
