I always think a benefit of taking part in the swaps is tying 12 or more of 
the same fly, plus 6 for yourself,spouse and friends.  With each fly you 
get better  and consistant with the techniques, then when I box and ship, I 
pick the best of the bunch for the swap, and the fishables go into our boxes.
