HI Wes

I just returned from Kipp Lake on the Blackfoot reservation. I managed to land four rainbows and I lost three. I got one that was 5 lbs. one 6 lbs. one 6 1/2 lbs and the largest  was 9 lbs. Missed getting a picture-dead batteries in the camera.

This is an article off the Westfly web site about big fish stillwaters
in the Western US. I found it interesting that the author listed 5
nearby lakes and reservoirs in Oregon in the list of 15. (Crane
Prairie, Davis Lake, East Lake, Wickiup Reservoir and Upper Klamath
Lake). Linda and I have personally flyfished four more of the waters
on the list during our travels. (Hebgen, Henry's, Quake, Island Park).
Want to hit Omak in Washington state this spring.

Of the list, we had the most outrageous fishing on Crane Prairie and
Island Park. When conditions on those two are hot, they're hard to
beat...or to forget.

Just a nice tap on the shoulder and reminder about why we like to live
here. One can lose sight of that at times.

Any stillwaters in the West that you think belong on this list??
Stories you'd like to tell about experiences at one of these fisheries?
