Jon, are you talking stacking or spinning?? Deb Duran was talking to me about stacking, she knows what to do...I would talk to her. If your talking spinning, Reindeer or Carabou works extremely well. If you dont have any, and cant find some, I'll trade you for some, i have a patch from a materials swap. It spins very easily, as in just barely tug on the thread and it will flare up.
Actually, if anyone wants to trade for some riendeer(or turkey, deer, red fox, foams) Let me know off list, and we can work something out, I have tons of materials that I dont need all of them.

Anybody have any tips for stacking deer hair. 1st of all what hair works best for this, i.e.. belly, tail, body? 2nd The 1st understack goes on great but the 1st top stack and everyone there after just wants to spin as well as the bottom. I am using 6/0 thread should I use something stronger to bind in tighter? Thanks for the help.
