I was wondering...would it make sense to add a tiny piece of highly reflective material to the back of any nymph, since it will facilitate the trout in finding the nymph.

Since a trout's window of vision in which it can see outside the water's surface is at a 45 degree angle directly above the eyes, (more out of the water due to refraction), the area in front of [a searching trout] outside the cone of vision is seen differently; the underside of the surface (obviously seen from under water) outside the cone acts like a mirror to reflect what is seen along the stream bed and through the water levels.

So now that the confusing part is over, would it be feasible to put something flashy on the back of a nymph so a searching trout may see the bright back reflected upon the surface (outside the cone above) and track it down?? or will it just run like hell and not touch the offering.

PS: sorry if this is confusing but i really am trying to find out...the continuously murky MD water is making it difficult to catch anything since the fish are almost blind!
