IF a substitute doesn't bother you, pheasant window feathers and rump
feathers work really great for tape wing files. Also, a neat thing is to use
a nylon stocking (tan of course) stretched over an embroidery hoop, then
first covered with the pipe cement you use to hold white sprinkler pipe
together. This takes the stretch out of the fabric. You can now use
Flexament and glue feathers on this and you can use any big feather you have
and cut it to size. You can also use this nylon with a coat of Flexament cut
to tent wings and mottled with a bit of permanent marker and have any size
