Hi, everyone!  Thank you all so much for your help with my question on substitute materials for salmon flies.  I really appreciate the help!   It looks like the date for the Int'l Fly Tying Symposium have FINALLY been accounced (11/22, 11/23) and I was wondering if anyone who has been to it before can tell me if its worthwhile going up there for the whole weekend.  I tried to make it last year, but I couldn't for an assortment of reasons.  I don't recall a whole lot of activity on VFB about the event though.  If anyone who has gone in the past could offer any information, I would really appreciate it.  Is anybody thinking about going this year?   http://www.flyfishingshow.com/othershows.html   John Roth
